We spent 2 horribly cold and windy nights chasing predators for a local contest. The take was way down, but not nearly as bad as I expected for the conditions. Stats - 179 Calling teams entered 9 Youth Division Teams; 170 Open Division 64% of calling teams checked-in 25% of checked-in teams brought in predators 17 coyotes brought in 57 Red Fox brought in 15 Gray Fox brough in 48.2 pounds = Heaviest Coyote And one for Northern Dave
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

I've used several calibers from 17 Rem to 243AI and this one seems to combine the fur friendliness of the 17 with the dead right there of the 243AI. Of course 3 coyotes isn't enough to bet the farm on.
More T&E is coming...

Good varmint hunt this weekend we won heavy dog and heavy bobcat at two contests and won second and the Calcutta at one of them. We killed 1 coyote 1 bobcat 3 grays 3 coons and 2 pigs. By the way one of my guys had a lightforce 170 with dimmer and another buddy had a 140 the light was the same except the 140 was more white light than the 170. So I ordered a magnalight with dimmer today. I'm a nightcrew wanna be.

One of me and Nash's buddies came out here for a while, and we've been having some fun up at 'dog town the past two days... It's snowing now, so 'dog shooting will likely stop for a while... It was fun while it lasted anyway.. Even got a video today....Click the picture. Sorry, it's kind of grainy.. Ben

A pretty fair half day, before the next front blew in. #72, 3, 4, 5, 6, and #77 for the season. Used the .17 Rem. today.

TR, You're a machine dude! (That's what she said) Mini-'flave scored on his first dog today! I think I was more prouder than when he was whacking deer. Travis
Trump being classless, tasteless and clueless as usual. Sorry, trump is a no tax payin pile of shiit. My young wife decided to play the field and had moved several dudes into my house
