if you can call caribou deer;(they do in Newfoundland) 223 (6 or so) 55 grain Trophy Bonded 22-250 ackley improved (6 or so) 74 RWS 6mm remington (2-3) 85 Nosler Partition 6.5 Rem Mag... (over 2 dozen) 120 and 140 Sierra..recently 130 Accubond is getting the nod 7mm Rem Mag ( 6 or so) 150 Nosler BT 7mm Weatherby ( 2-3) 140 X bullet 308 Win ( 2 dozen or so) 150 Nosler Partition or Hornady interlock 300 H&H ( 2-3) 150 Sierra 350 Rem Mag ( 6-7) 225 Nosler Partition 450 Marlin (1) My favourite is the 6.5 Rem Mag... flat trajectory and low recoil gives excellent bullet placement in a compact package. Here is an example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHIp3M8j68UIf you make me stick to deer .243 30-30 .308
