My wife and I could bring ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Might be able to come up with some homemade relish.
Are any of the ladies attending quilters by any chance?

Thanks, Kevin!

As to the quilters, I'll have to defer to others to figure that out.

Please post your best guess when you will be arriving.

Thanks,

Ed, despite my hopes - "The Warden" & I need to bow out.
Wish we could make it - would like to see that beautiful country, and meet the lady you deceived into becoming your wife!
Best wishes, hope (and expect) all goes well, and you know where I live - stop anytime you're through the area!

Ed, the time issues just cleared up over here. We will be traveling beforehand, and should be at your place by that Friday morning to help set up. For the eats, we are bringing a bunch of paper plates/bowls/cups/plastic utensils.

In reply to the earlier inquiry, Maddy is interested in quilting.

I am interested in meeting what appear to be some fine folks, and renewing good times with fellows earlier well-met.

Well my better half is a quilter but she will not be there. One of the grandkids birthdays is that weekend, she will be out in west Texas.
Maybe the next trip. I just need 4 tires for my 5th wheel. Just being cheap. In fact I need 9 tires for different trailers, 4 tires for the trip to Co. in the Jeep this summer. Tire people are going t like me.

Wtxj - I am feeling your pain on the tire issues. One of the challenges of keeping all of these old trucks here is that, even though the tread on most is great and they are in good shape otherwise, time and ozone are enemies and they do deteriorate even while resting. In the past few days I had been tuning a very unique 72 GMC and, when checking tire air, noted the sidewall checking on tires with excellent tread - it will have to have 6 new ones before it goes anywhere.

I am hoping that the tires on the 72 Chev we will ride to the gathering at Ed's place will be OK - tread is still fine, but they must be 10 years old. Oh well - we must find adventure somewhere.

Mark,

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it! Perhaps when you and your Bride get some free time you can come hang out here for a few days.

Ed
