I have renewed my reading of Scripture on a daily basis. It really gives me a "charge" in the ambition department.
"All that the South has ever desired was that the Union, as established by our forefathers, should be preserved, and that the government, as originally organized, should be administered in purity and truth." – Robert E. Lee

When I graduated from college in 1985 I never wanted to see another book. I have held true to that. So, just to the left of me as I type is the April Hot Rod magazine.

A couple: "Abode Of Misery", a history of the Charleston (SC) District Jail that operated for well over 100 years and was the scene of many horrors, and "Honestly", the biography of singer/guitarist Michael Sweet of the Christian heavy metal band Stryper.

"Commies" by Randolph Radosh -- his experiences in being raised by dyed-in-the wool CPUSA parents and brainwashed in a closed loop Communist Party system throughout college with other now prominent elites -- all right here in the USA.
Biography of Bill Casey.
Autobiography of Bob Gates as SecDef.
Shadows on the Mountain a rehash of how the US abandoned Yugoslavia's anti-Communists during WWII while Roosevelt sucked up to Joe Stalin. (Obama's ass kissing posture with Putin has a precedent.)
George V Higgins' The Patriot Game.
H.L. Mencken's collected works

Everything Vince Flynn has wrote in order. I've read them all before but not in order and I'm catching stuff I missed the first time around. It sucks that he dies not too long ago because his main character Mitch Rapp is one bad mutha-shut-yo-mouth.

In a bit of self interest/aggrandizement I suggest that those interested in the early SEAL Teams take a look at "SEAL WARRIOR." It has received high praise from the USNavySEALS.com. It was my honor to be Tom's collaborator/ghost writer. Combat Master Chief Keith tells a unique story of his 30 years in Seal Team 2, and Mike Thornton, awardee of the MOH, kindly offered to help me write the forward.

I'm re-reading "Women of the Celts" by Jean Markale. Non-fiction, a book on how women fit into ancient Celtic society based a historical fact, legend, and myth.
