Had a beautiful day today and the gophers were out in force along the driveway and in the yard. Grabbed the 17 hornet and let her eat!

Saw this one out in the front yard. Got a steady rest on the split fail fence and all I could see was her head. Can ya tell?

Shot a few more including one that split in three pieces, 10 feet in the air and a good size chunk flew 20 yards to the north of the hole and landed on top of the wood pile!

We were testing some guns for the Prairie Dog invitational today. I even shot some gophers with the 17 Remington before it fouled shut. Ours were working well, how about yours???

Nash and I are warming up for the big shoot... We hit the local pup population this afternoon.. The Mauser was bloodied for the first time this year, and the .22-250 Sako excelled at flipping them, as usual.

Yes he does....
But if he should happen to get homesick for some 17 Hornet carnage, maybe these pics will tide him over till his safe return....
