You fellers need to be on your toes blaspheming the 270. This man is watching and hearing every word.

Ah pull the other one, we all know that you have to chalk the .270 projectiles to see the marks on paper at one hundred yards!

They were going through a 'rough patch' about then, and he was obviously mad at her about something.

I was wondering about something yesterday as I was waiting for the pigs to come out of hiding (which they never did). Virtually all of the guns in this style from Rigby, WR, etc., are built on the M98 action. There are reasons for that, not the least of which is quality and collaboration as well as the time period during which many of them were originally built, but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen something like this WR built on a M70 action. I'm just curious.

Nope. Even after M70s came well into being

The m98, day in ,day out is an excellent workhorse. The limeys recognized that early on, and stuck with what works.

I know I've never seen anything like it built on a M70 action.

Except the original Ingwe Special, of course.

After having used oodles of different rifles, if I ever were to build the 'be all, end all ' rifle to do everything.it would be on an M98 action.

Ive had more trouble free miles with M98s than anything else.

( Though the Ingwe Special has never wanted any extra attention, and its been around the block)

She never liked the '06 according to his book "the Hunting Rifle". He quoted her as saying after firing it before a safari,"Kicks too damn much". She took the 7x57.
