I have some once fired Creedmor brass I got from a buddy.
It will not chamber in my rifle at all before running thru the dies.
I have run it thru a full length Hornady die and it still will not chamber in my rifle.
It measures longer than the brass fired in my rifle, so I trimmed to length, still no go.
I have tried brass fired in my rifle and sized and it works fine.
Any ideas.
Thanks

I just tried grinding some off the shell holder and that did not help.
The necks measure the same for both my brass and his.
I will try to cut off a neck to see if the neck is the problem.

Sounds like your friend has a loose chamber.

OK I ran the brass thru a SB 308 die and it now fits my chamber.
It was hard to get to go in the SB dies but it did go. I then ran in the CM dies and trimmed to length.
My buddies rifle is a Tactical Rifles custom, it must have an out of spec chamber.
