We'll be married 17 years next month and well she pissed off at me right now. In other words a normal day. MagMarc, true. I'm 25 years in two weeks. She doesn't get mad anymore. Now I think she's just plotting how to kill me and get away with it. That sounds familiar Rev.

Ingwe will be along and say it needs a red pad ^^^^^^^^^ This. I guess its only appropriate to post the original, the one, the only.. Ingwe: I want to resurrect this because I want to ask: did you have the forearms shortened on your Ingwe Special or just leave it alone? Also, who did the work? Just send me a PM if you'd rather not post it publically. Thanks. Mike

I cut the forearm just behind the factory sling swivel and in front of the checkering. I installed the ebony for end and shaped/finished it.

I'm still debating whether or not to use a M70 (maybe a Cabela) or my M98 for an "African" build. So far I'm leaning towards the latter. I'll have to ask a stock maker if it's easier to covert a Monte Carlo or "pig back" into one of those WRs some of us are drooling over. Any thoughts?

I rasped a standard stock on my .30-06 into submission by removing the forend, shortening and replacing with ebony, and did a makeover of the cheekpiece into a shadow-line British style with no problemo.
