Y'all need to be careful the kinky stuff...sticks, medieval apparatuses, posterior pretzels... Be careful the people you hang out with at the gym.

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure what kind of gym they're going to...

Well, mine is staffed by professional trainers. But I think I know why Battue draws crowds of women at the gym. That thing uses 10 D-cell batteries.

That roller was recommended by a gal that runs marathons and has her own running store.

Sidelines on a football field works best for this, but 52 paces on an arctic gravel pad will do as well.
Starting every 30 seconds, 52 yds ea: sprint x 2, shuffle sideways x 2, sprint x 2, carioca x 2
Rest 1 minute
Shuttle run: 6 times across
Rest 1 minute
Repeat all of the above 3 times

Just checked out this thread for the first time. You guys are beasts! I'm worn out just reading it. J hits it hard enough for the two of us so does that mean I'm covered?

Did a little cardio yesterday to ease back in. 15 on bike, lots of stretching and rolling, then 15 on stepmill. Leg felt good. Was a little sore after walking on the beach at the lake in the soft sand though.

Don't worry, if you're not up to the task, you can use your cell phone to call in someone to offer the verbal assistance.

Just starting over again after a neck injury.
Squats- 3x5 at 145lbs
Standing press -3x5 at 95lbs
Dead lift- 5 at 200lbs after appropriate warm up.
This after humping zinc sheets all day at work. My strength is pathetic but becoming less so every day.

Warren - good work. Ease back into it.
Took it easy the last two days as I was feeling a little fatigued. Did a 2 mile interval run this morning. Finally able to go over a mile continuously - 1.4 mile before first walk. Another milestone hit.

Did lower body today, stayed away from anything taxing on the calves. Felt good. Put me in, coach.
