Well, that would be $200/week I am not getting right now. Added to my modest retirement, that is a helpful amount these days. So long as the court hearing times do not overlap deer season in mid October, I am down with it. If I get the IRS stanndard .52 per mile, I will ride my Harley up and be game, even more. And if it does overlap deer season, Mr. Patriot, how are you going to get out of it? Somebody is fixin to become a damn lair when this question is answered.

If they ask about your Medical Condition and you are as sick as you say , then they will kick your ass off before you ever get a chance to serve on extended jury duty .

Hard to stay awake and alert for very long. But, I am going to offer and serve if they want me too and I can. I did not know they would ask about medical conditions. We shall see.

They ask me and i told them since i was taking Beta Blockers , that if i sit for any period of time i can't stay awake, they told me to go home and i would be placed on a list to never be called again for jury duty. Dam that made me happy.

I would imagine in this day and age, if one has been charged and sent to court, the juror's duty is to affirm the guilt?
I mean, why go to trial if the dude wasn't guilty? ya know?
