TAINT,
DO show your Imaginary rifle and it's Imaginary "conquests".
The 100TTSX is no XLC................(hint) No pictures of dead game with that rifle, only a few does killed since I've owned it. The rifle is the custom Pre-64 built by Safariman that has been the subject of quite a few threads here on the 'fire. Run a search if you want to see it. GFY!
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

The purpose of showing that picture was only to illustrate inlays such as Weatherby put in his early creations.

If you could only use one of the Weatherby magnums which would it be? I'm rather fond of the .257 Bee myself but haven't given any of the others trigger time. I have owned or used all but a very few Weatherby cartridges but the 7mm is likely my choice and one of the few never to grace my stable. John

I have owned them all and currently have all of them sans the 338-378 and the 300 Bee.
I do like my 7mm bee in the Euromark. Beautiful gun. 154 gr at 3300 fps.

Got a pic of the Euromark Fotis?
Good review of that model recently on RealGuns if you didn't see it.

Got it . A lot of people think the pre- MarkV 's were gaudy. I like them the best. But then I grew up reading Grandpa's Wally Taber books so I was accustomed to the flashy looks before I ever started shooting.

Hint.......... I see the 162 A-wesome has whipped out it's pecker and shamed others yet again. I have a hard time with a rifle company that pretends there are no left-handed hunters. I s'pose all the lefties are screwing the wives of the Mrk V shooters on their fancy hunts.

My favorite is the 240wby. Mine is a 1/8 twist so I can shoot VLD type bullets. Particulars on the build please. That's a purty rifle.

That is a supurb classic. I also like the .240 and mine is an HS Precision SPL with McM Hunters Edge. The HS handle weighs 42 oz and is chunky. The Edge weighs 26 oz and is much sleeker. DF

I have a friend whose trophy room has about 130 heads including a griz. He shot almost all with a .300 Wby Mark V. When recoil became a problem he went to a .270 WBY Mark V.
I doubt if there's a cartridge that I don't like. Keep in mind that before Holland & Holland decided to put belts on big cartridges, our hunting forefathers were doin' it all with the '06 & our Canadian neighbors were doin' it all with the .303 British. But I do like Weatherby cartridges.
