Please let us know how it turns out. I rarely eat any meat besides wild game and we have quite a bit of venison. I have not tried it on the grill yet.

Try marinating it in zesty Italian dressing over night before grilling, gives it a different flavor.
I've done both roasts and steaks with this method.

Bone-in Shoulder roast. Injected with Creole Butter Cajun Injector Marinade. Rubbed down with Cajun Shake. Layered the bacon on the outside and smoked over indirect heat (with water pan)around 225-250* for a few hours. Perfection Juicy and tender as can be. Just doesn't get much better than that!
