It's just a push feed action with a third rate safety and a plastic stock on a Howa action. Nothing to be proud of. MSRP $1695 <---

Sako, guessing right at 8lbs, maybe slightly less, but that is just a guess. It feeds the 140AB's @ 2.803 very well, action is very slick, it does have a great feel to it overall. I'll put the comparator to some dummy rounds tomorrow, as I like to seat bullets very near the lands, magbox allowing of course.

JGR: I dunno about their current run but their first couple runs weren't exactly home runs..

Glad you are happy with the overall aesthetics. Look forward to see how they shoot. I'll post mine in the thread tomorrow.

A case full of powder in a 7mm-08 w/a 140gr Partition or Ballistic Tip will kill an awful lots of game...and I don't just mean hogs and deer. With a 160 AccuBond...look out! powdr

Got her on paper, then fiddled around with some charges, seating depths, etc. After fiddling around with it for the past few days, it's seemed to settle into this range of charges. The details: 140 accubond 2.800 COAL Nosler brass Big Game Fed 215M primers (experience in other 7-08's with Big Game showed that more often than not, mag primers with this ball powder seemed to tighten things up rather nicely.) Looks like you might have a good shooter there. Did it feed and function good too?
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Everything functions very smoothly, except for the mullet on the trigger sometimes. Interesting that this particular rifle likes more jump than what I'm used to.

I used a Nosler rifle in 325 wsm, I believe, one evening last May outside Uvalde. No flies on that thang whatsoever...

Don . . .
It's ok to have your preferences, and we have all seen you post them many times.
But your opinion of another guy's new rifle is irrelevant, so keep it to yourself.

Those don't appear to be the same bolts. The ring around the pin is different in each and if you look at the left pic - at the 3 o'lock there seems to be a dent in the bolt edge that isn't there in the right picture. (would be at 6 o'clock in that one) Ejectors are colored differently as well.
