I found you a used Rascal on Craiglist for $35.....so you don't have to walk picking up cans.

It has a basket up front for extree shart catchers and dual baskets in the rear for can colleting.

The orange flag is free.....

You should!

Actually, I was sitting in a stand early Friday evening, getting soaked to the bone in a pouring rain, thinking to myself, "Man, I sure hope MRC sealed this stock!"

By the way, not a single animal showed itself in that deluge, proving once again that most animals have a lot more sense than me. grin

I know the feeling!

For about 9 months now I've been fighting the urge to order a MRC XWR in 7x57 to match the ASR. We'll see how I do as the rains continue to fall (which they are doing as I type).

But there's just something about putting a 7x57 in stainless and Tupperware.

Yeahits just wrong. Kinda like finally getting a date with Heidi Klum, then putting a bag over her head.

I'm not quite sure it's that drastic!

Perhaps. Both both are horrible to think about.

Not too late to really make it shine, with a 12 twist in 222 mag, nice wood and a variable scope. This project hasn't passed the point of being a complete waste of time and money....

Just remember, with your age and their wait times, do not pay up front.

Congrats.

The neat thing about ordering a Mcmillan for a standard type inlet like a SA 700 is that if you get tired of looking at yours, it should sell in the classifieds in about ten minutes!
