Actually, I was sitting in a stand early Friday evening, getting soaked to the bone in a pouring rain, thinking to myself, "Man, I sure hope MRC sealed this stock!" I know the feeling! For about 9 months now I've been fighting the urge to order a MRC XWR in 7x57 to match the ASR. We'll see how I do as the rains continue to fall (which they are doing as I type). Not too late to really make it shine, with a 12 twist in 222 mag, nice wood and a variable scope. This project hasn't passed the point of being a complete waste of time and money....
