Sharptails in September. The old fellow is 11 this year and is deaf. He is pure visual in tracking where I am and still gets on the birds. Yeah it was pretty neat. It was the first one I saw hanging out. Usually they are crossing roads or hauling ass through the hay field.

55 or 60 years ago my grandpa shot one about 1/2 mile from the corn pile. That is the only one I know of on the riverbottom. We get the occasional report of a mountain lion but I've never spotted one of those either.
Bears and bobcats..... Damn Ben, you have a pretty good spot over there!
