No pheasants in this area of sw Missouri and not enough quail to hunt them. Plenty of whitetails,coyote, turkey, few elusive bobcats and black bear. This afternoon(corn pile tractor work) I look out the window and see our 4 horses out in the neighbor's stubble field. WTF??? Bad timing, anyway long story short my dad's heeler rolls in (fresh)horse chit during gate repair. I did not realize this until he had rubbed it all over the tractor seat and myself. Oldtimer, hay bales anywhere are a good sign! We have a few birds this Fall but not like the old days. Bbassi, that is what awesome! Last edited by SamOlson; 10/02/14.
