Great job Ben and Nash!

Every days like Christmas on the trap line.
You never know what you're gonna get.

Even more fun setting in heavy cover for Cats. My heart really gets busy when I hear that chain pumping but can't see whats there.

Five more weeks for me. cry

Thanks men.. Don, that goes for me too a lot of the time... grin

Charlie, cat trapping is the best. We've got just under a month here.. Nash and I built sort of a walk-through cubby yesterday morning in anticipation for cat season when we were cutting some firewood.

We like building our cubbies way before season so the cats are used to them come season.. There are no traps in that picture.

Had one running around a pasture last week when we were elk hunting. My brother and I dropped to the ground and I let out a few barks and some short rabbit in distress. He showed up about 300 yds out and we never saw him again so we gave up. When we got up to keep moving this one was about 400yds out and took off running. I barked a few times and he stopped long enough for my brother to cut loose. "Where the post meets crosshair, put that on his spine just above his ass!" He fugging connected with the first shot and neither of us could believe it. We ranged it @ 600yds after the shot.
