Oh yeah. Let 'er rip. Once we get them sighted in we just use them for deer season and then re-zero for the regular stuff.
A box or two goes a long ways.

I want to say they are pushing 2,600fps. I'd have to look. I have two loads, one with Vargay and one with RL 17 and they both hit within 1/2" of each other and if I recall correctly I was getting around 2,600fps. Travis

I think your money on both, I just wish you could use a 22 cal for deer hunting here in CO. Been really looking hard at a 22- 250 with a 8 twist.

sold my early season coyotes today. Averaged $18/ea. frozen in the round. Had a couple at $25 and a couple at $10. Got a couple more Thursday and a couple on Fri. and a couple more yesterday.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.

they otter be moving in the morning..... Yep... I think I'm gonna go on a combo hunt tomorrow.. Mulies are rutting, but coyotes are bound to be up and hunting, so can't pass that up.. I tagged along with a couple buddies today and one of them shot a decent 3x4 at 570 yds. It was a dang fun hunt.

What caliber did you use on the pterodactyl Huntsman? I sure miss living in the country and blasting vermin with whatever I had in the gunrack, 22-250 is rough on birds!

trouble is, they're getting gunshy now.....grin
I have a couple beeves in the pens feeding them up. The pigeons from the abandoned place across the hiway have found the feed pile. I hate them chitting on the Corn Flakes....
