would surprise me none if they'd rather stock the stores than have folks get it from them online
it's been a hot item and if they can use it to drive folks into their stores, there's a chance they might sell them a few other things.

Update: I placed an order for 2 boxes from Cabelas. They had a promo for free shipping on all orders but a limit of 1 of each item. So, I ordered 2 different items both of which they originally backordered. Here's an email I got this morning: Products Ordered

I stopped at the new store in south Denver about two weeks ago and they had about 8 bricks of the Remingtons on the shelf. One per customer, I bought one brick, $26.Then two other guys grabbed all the rest and got on their phone to call their buddies to come and get them.

Around here mail order is about the only way to get 22s. I haven't seen any on the shelves in quite a while. Sportmans Warehouse has a policy of putting everything new out on Saturday morning and there's always a long line when they open the doors. If you haven't been in line for a long time, it's gone before you get in.
