Nope. Separate and individual corporations.

DirecTV is awaiting approval from FCC and DOJ on it's merger with/acquired by AT&T.

A merger with/acquisition by Dish fell through earlier. They are identified as "Company A" in the DirecTV documentation of their merger/acquisition negotiations.

So, wait, people still watch any of the 24 hr news networks? I can't suffer through more than a minute of any of them. Maybe the providers are catching on. Eventually the advertisers will too.
