I handled one of the Dakota lil'Sharps at their DSC booth today. Spendy little gun but holy smokes it was sweet. They will make them in rimmed cartridges only, up to .444 Marlin caliber. The show gun was a .30-40, and they say .38-55 is very popular.

I saw 5 different leopards and passed on some small males. I've never even seen a bobcat and other hunters kill a couple of our properties every year.

So, bobcats and cruel practical jokers are my nemesis'.

I'll remember the cruel practical jokers part....

Im headed to Tejas tuesday...bobcat might be on the menu We will be calling predators for three nights.

Bob, I live in Texas, never shot one, never seen one. Have seen dead ones others have shot. Just have to be lucky, a good caller and in the correct spot at the right time.
Just tell the head guide what you want and maybe they can get you to the right place to hunt one.
All is not lost, you are young and have many years to go.
