I can see I'm going to burn thru my retirement cash real quick on this hunt. My wife will be pissed. After looking at the prices of lights, I think my good flashlight and some duct tape will do. I just happened to have one as I used to lay out in fields and watch for hogs. The light helps. Us, your going to be in a blind and will be picked up not too long after it gets dark. Wouldn't worry about a hog light or night vision.

Again don't worry about a light a good scope will get you where you need to be.

They will not pay any attention at all to green light. As Dan stated, I wouldn't worry as much about illumination as optics that are good in low light. Open sights will definately put a man behind.
