I'm sure they will. They work with the 3.5-10x40.

I have a VX3 2.5-8 off a rifle at the moment, will double check it tonight.

How dare you c-suckers speak to me this way.

The post office is getting pretty awful. I got someone else's new health insurance card in my mailbox. Not even close to the same name, address, or even city.

the one above is a Liberty #1B .270. This is the .30-40, a #1A with Circassian wood:

ahhh...scope mounting on a #1. That's also interesting... grin

I found the old Burris Signature (and its Pentax partner) that had the adjustment knobs well forward about perfect. They had good optics for the day though a tad heavy. Still have one on an old 243 RSI.

I like to use the Ruger offset rings, unless the scope is unusually long, or is straight with no objective bell. One downside is they are only available in 1".

I used to use those as well but the mentioned scopes did not require them. They were pretty slick. Alas my #1 days have long been over selling what I had many years ago. I do get and itch for one every now and again though.

Ed I figure it I don't have to use the off set rings a just flip um in the classifieds but wanted them here just incase so I can rock and roll as soon as the rifle gets here
I'd rather not have to use them

Makes sense. Kind of down to the wire like when you decided to run the Bisley on a previous hog hunt. A tradition now? grin

They are long gone. Most in West Texas.
