I took some German lessons from a very imposing Frau prior to my last trip over, but apparently learning how to say, "vegetables", "married", and "knife" in the local language, isn't quite adequate to help one navigate most hunting situations.

The language doesn't seem to matter much.

I suppose if we were to offer him the American equivalent in hunting camp fare, we'd hand him a Slim Jim & a Busch Light? (In addition to the orange juice and the razor... )

During our hunt in the Talkeetnas, we had Mountain House & protein bars. I think he & I had enough of those for a lifetime. Fortune smiled upon us, though, & we were able to supplement with this:







Alas, we had no PBR on the mountain.


Something tells me, though, that we'll not be in short supply of potables at ADL7, however.
