I am thinking she might need another diamond or two more than you need a new rifle. I am thinking my wife would prefer a weapon of some sorts over a diamond.

See you in a coupla weeks. I sure hope so. Flying right now would most likely blow out both my ear drums. My ears are plugged that bad. I am trying to get tubes in both ears next week.

I'm planning on showing up on Friday afternoon. What would be the best foods, beverages, supplies etc to bring. I can help with the cooking if need be, whatever to help out. How many folks is it looking like.

Too many pages for me to read thru. Glad i seen this.
Depending on the mood, i may take the runts and wife for a drive up to day hi. Getting away for a day is needed so we just might make it up. Be saturday If we do. See if i take some fishing poles up.

Well, true to form, our calendars (my wife's and mine) have been trashed, and I wonder why I bother to write anything on them at all. New developments among family in Alaska, Texas and New Mexico look like the end result will be that I am going to be alone that weekend and not in Texas, after all. I would rather be alone in the Tonto Basin with you good folks, so I am thinking that (barring further disruptions) I will be there after all.
What shooting contests are you cooking up?
