Never owned a CZ, but they have a good reputation with people who know rifles. I passed on a nice one in 9.3x62 only because I have a J.C. Higgins M50 action destined for a 9.3. I always wanted at least one real Mauser.

And to think, I used to hate 270's . Mine has been an eye opener for me. They are just sweethearts. I'm not giving up any of my 30-06's though...

BSA, I only have 2 .270's, so that's why I'm looking for another one. Lightweight,have 4-.270's and right now that's enough.

Went to a gun show yesterday and found a Pre '64 M 70 .270 made in 1958. It's still there,but by dog,it's very tempting to add #5 .270 to the house.
The price is $1100,which is a steal IMHO.

Went to a gun show yesterday and found a Pre '64 M 70 .270 made in 1958. It's still there,but by dog,it's very tempting to add #5 .270 to the house.
The price is $1100,which is a steal IMHO. Ohhhhh noooo! I'm in the hunt for a 270 but just too far to drive. I do have a line on a FWT a bit closer to home, just need to move my Remmy Mtn rifle first.
