I believe that is what George now calls "select standard grade walnut" as he says he does not have/cannot find "standard grade walnut" anymore. I did a Rem Rolling Block with butt and fore stock from Treebone nearly 18 years ago (when Treebone was still in Priest River, ID), and it was/is "standard grade walnut". A couple of pics for reference . . . BTW, I was very satisfied with the Treebone product. Someday I hope to be the person my dogs think I am . . . The only true cost of having a dog is its death.
