Some Snakes are already out and by next week with the warm temps they will all be out.
If anyone has any food allergies please speak up now so we can let the cook know
Arrival on Wed. is any time after 1:00pm
They will have someone stationed at the gate so no worries about getting in. Cell service is as follows ATT is good,Verizon OK, Sprint just toss your phone in the brush and forget about it.
Bob there is a bobcat or 2 in on the ranch he's been seeing tracks and crap, more outside of the fenced area and he feels thats the better spot for predators but not as many hogs out there

Thanks for taking your time to get this info Dan, you're the man.
Looks like maybe (longshot) Bob may get a chance at a Bobcat.
Good for him.
I did buy a bobcat call so I can drive them to Bob.

Thanks Dan...looks like I'll be outside the fenced in area for the most part. For 4 days if I have to.

Sucks about Sprint. Do they have WI-Fi, Dan?

I looked just for the fun of it. You will have TV.
Maybe Roger will bring his broadband card for his computer.
I didn't see any listing on WIFI but this place seems to be pretty neat so bet they do if they have sat TV.

Thanks once again Dan, for the WiFi 411. With my Sprint phone being worthless, there is absolutely no way I could go 6 days,(4 business days) without being able to respond to fires that need extinguishing. Plus,I love making money while socializing with the good folks in my circle.

I don't think I'm going to buy snake gaiters either unless someone seriously convinces me of the necessity. I remember Pat telling me on the way down to our dove hunt that he's never seen a rattlesnake in the areas we're hunting. Of course, we shot one the next morning.

Plus, it would make for a great photo op were Ingwe to be the one to suck out the poison while wearing his leopard, butt floss panties.

Hell Dan, if this place has a washer/dryer, I could pack everything I'd need in my Redd Oxx knapsack, thanks to Pat and Patrick.

Gents...I submitted an Accuweather search for Crystal City Tx.for the days 18 thru 22.

Other than some light rain on the Tuesday before we head into camp, we are going to be in the high 80s and low 90s for every day of hunting.

Pigs early am and the cool of the dark after sunset will likely be our best chances for scoring a hog, unless they have time-released feeders and the pigs need to beat the deer and turkey to the easy food stash.

More like Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion, infused with nuclear-ized DEET. I don't know who may have said otherwise earlier in the thread but trust me when I tell you to prepare for some nasty-assed, near invisible, silent biting flies that draw blood and cause grape sized, painful and itchy knots on your body that hang for a week or two. To illustrate, imagine folks with leprosy who hid from others behind some poison ivy bushes.

Chiggers are worse. They'll make you, without any discretion or care whatsoever, scratch your balls in front of nuns and school kids.

Texas' bugs are silent assassins to unprotected skin.
