Yep, those are both .223. The .300 Blackout is a carbine, like the 2nd one.

Here's a photo from the local Yooper muzzle loading match last Saturday (3/7/15):

WN-
I hadn't planned to use a ML for this year's hunt. However, I am planning to bring the long rifle this year, with the possibility of ensnaring the unwary. (Psst! Hey buddy, why don't you try some of this powder. It's so much better than yours.)

I do plan to bring my Sharps to attempt black powdering a pig.

We did lose a lot of inches of snow cover over the last couple of days, but it's certainly not gone. (Just where does the white go when the snow melts?)

Range day today - I'm all dialed-in. Ready shall have his choice of TSX or TTSX projectiles. And if the hogs are really tough, I can dip the tips in green paint, to make 'em armor-piercing. sick

It's almost here, gents.

Patrick...whatever you decide, buddy. Pat brought a 22.250 for me as well so I'd only take advantage of your generosity for an evening. You just want it to be your rifle I use to tag my bobcat, if such an animal actually exists.

Thanks Patrick.
