and puppy sounds and puppy smells...... Six of the little furballs, and everyone is doing absolutely great. Can't wait until they are big enough to hang off of big Sister's tail. Anne's going to name one of them Karma, just to make the point....

look at them grow! Took them outside for the first time today. Starting solid food. It's hard to worry about much when you are playing with puppies!

Great looking pups!! As your website states, not a well known breed as I hadn't heard of them except from you on this website.
Do they water retrieve? How much do they shed?

They aren't known as water lovers, but they will retrieve from water if trained. My male has retrieved ducks for me at 6 degrees, but they aren't Chessies! They are, however, better at shedding than water retrieves . That's the price you pay for that lovely spaniel coat. If you keep them outside most of the time, the shedding comes only twice a year. Keep them in the house, like most of us do, and they shed quite a bit.

That said, the shedding would be a deal breaker for my wife. Good luck with the litter! PS- If you put in for and draw a sage grouse permit in UT for the country south of Bear Lake let me know. I can give you a couple of good places to look.

Have your lady take a look, we've had a lot of women fall in love with the look of the dogs, so you never know. We only have one male and one female left, though.

They're just a bit bigger than the Small Muensterlander. A small bitch will go 40 lbs and a large dog as much as 70.

She really likes the look of them, just not the shedding. She's kinda funny that way. Good luck finding good homes for the last two.
