Sometimes, heck...you just don't want the attention.
My grandfather was a plumber, huge, barrel chested man with canned ham sized hands. But, he always had a large 2' pipe wrench behind the seat.
My preference is a 12 pound sledge.

Sometimes I wonder why I even click on these threads, amusement I guess.

12 lb sledge versus a .45, sounds reasonable.

Myself I carry a 36 lb sledge, good for 3 assailants, any more than 3 and I just go full Chuck Norris.

And I upped my post count, win win.

If tHey do not deserve a bullet, then my size 13 boots and XL hands should suffice. I do, however have a real 'fighting grade' Claymore Sword, fitting of my heritage, and replica but also solid through the grip blade Roman Short Sword. I guess one could call them unconventional weapons, but I cannot envision an encounter where I would trade either for my 1911 in 10mm or some other firearm.

Explanation, we are waiting at the hospital for me to get an ultrasound of my kidney. Creatinine is trending up, but I really don't think they will find anything wrong.

Here's three that show up in one book:

Wagon wheel spoke.
Slingshot with 36 caliber lead balls.
Straight Razor.

I think he had every mirror in Iraq. The pure awesomeness of the bike is why I decided to get a picture.
