I was perusing the handicapped section and stumbled onto this at a gun shop.

It's chambered in the 35 Gaylen.

At first glance, I'd guess AWR?

It sure looks like a earlier KS, they did build lefties so it could be one. And depending on how old it is, its either a Brown Precision, McMillan. Early 1990's where Brown, not sure when they changed to McMillan, both great stocks though.

Now I understand the handicapped part.

After digging around a bit, the AWR wasn't offered in 35 Whelen. I agree with others who said it looks like a KS, which was offered with a misplaced bolt handle in 35 Whelen.

The S/N looks like C6677XXX

Yep. C would be a 2008 vintage.

I'm pretty sure the "C" prefix actions are from about 1990 to 1994 maybe or there abouts. If you want to know when the rifle was built look at the barrel for the code, there should be 2 stamped letters just in front of the lug. That will be the month and year built. Some say the "C" prefix where some of the best?? My KS .280 is a "C" and its from Sept 1992, hope that helps.
