Usually the too good to be true deals are the scams on craigslist. My buddy got burned on a late model Cherokee. Thing was priced half of value and they use the rouse that they are deploying to the mideast in two weeks and need to move it fast. They get people to act fast and send a deposit to lock it up.
Purchased a truck from SC while I was stationed in Japan. Ordered it to spec from ford actually and picked it up when I got off the plane with .7 miles on it.
