Excellent point.

You forget one major detail. SD never admitted having committed the ultimate sin that he shot a bear in the butt. wink

Uhhh... Actually I have shot quite a few bears in the butt... Like way over a dozen. They had all been ventilated elsewhere previously though.

Do you understand that some people on here can't even distinguish the two types of posts?

Are you against fooling people on here, or only against fooling people by someone you no longer like?

what have the others taken away? you say self esteem but if you think anyone controls that but yourself your a fool, hence the 'self' in self esteem.....splattermattic brought up his stock but im pretty sure ive seen someone bring that up fairly recently other than him in a thread SD posted on so not like thats been forgotten either....

and if people cant look real quick to see what the date on a post is i cant help them....old posts get brought to the top all the time......if its that big of a deal than people have bigger problems than can be helped with on here....

Friends don't let friends buy schitt from douchebags like Safariman...

no its friends don't tell friends how to spend their money...

try that one out...

Friends don't let friends drink and drive...... Why? because that would be a very poor choice. And beacuse they care. It's a simple thread. Good Folk simply letting other good folk what a scumbag is up to. Informing. Looking out for others instead of sitting back and saying nothing watching good people get pphuccked by a a douchebag like SM...

Trueful from my side.
I sent you a stock and cartridge trap to work on.
Barrel blank as payment.
You returned said blank.
I had asked for stock and trap returned.
You stated you would when you felt like it or some sort of verbage.
You have not.
You did not complete the work, nor have returned my prparty, , nor admitted to any damage(if any), nor compensated me for any loss.

There is no other story, or side to it.
You have not returned my property.
End of story....

Now. Your side as to why? ??
Ball is in your court, thief.

I don't think I'll ever look at a Chevy Avalanche quite the same ever again -- no matter the color. It'll always be an Uberlanche.

This thread has been many things, but focused is not one of them. I have not commented on the Safariman deal at all (and will not) but no doubt contributed to the mess by taking on one or two guys regarding what has been a side topic. If that has been a problem hijack - my apologies are offered. Now, done here. Have fun.

Did you leave it alive and crippled overnight?
Did one of your friends have to find it and kill it for you?
Did you have a friend with a big truck and 3 miles of cable extract it for you?
Did you post an uber thread about it?

So, I been thinkin’. I re-read the thread about the Mashburn in the classifieds. I admit it. I laughed. Some of you guys have killer wit. grin And I think I’ve read all of the threads about Mr. Claiborne’s alleged character flaws over the past year or two at least. Laughed at those too. Vividly recall the one about the Uberlanche. 'Nother side splitter, I admit.

That said, we’ve had our laughs. Is it not time to to call it good and be done with it? I think so. Don't mean to preach, but I think its just gone too far. First, it was way, way over the top to bring his wife into the discussion. Yes, he posted the glamour shot of her in the bathing suit. (Who wouldn't; she's a looker.) But that doesn’t justify some of the crude shots taken at her in the classified thread. A man’s wife is off limits. Plain and simple.

Second, conceding the guy has made mistakes, who among us hasn't? Some of us are kicking this man when he is down, way, way down and its just over the top. It isn’t funny anymore. It borders on cruel and abusive. The man suffers from a congenital kidney disease, was on dialysis, near death and required a transplant from a relative who stepped up to save his life and then had extreme difficulty post surgery. (Didn’t they have to re-open her?) Could not have been easy on the man who benefitted from her generosity to see her back under the knife because she chose to help him in his hour of need. And pre-surgery, from his posts, it looked like Mr. Claiborne himself was in physical agony. From what I hear, dialysis is hell. Sounds like the man was staring death in the face. Don’t imagine recovery has been easy either. On top of his severe health problems, he’s lost his license to sell insurance, lost his livelihood and has apparently filed a Chapter 7 BK.

No reason whatsoever to continue to put the boots to a man who is down on his luck that hard. It’s not right guys. It paints those of us who are laughing at his misery in a far more negative light than Mr. Claiborne. As far as the theft from the old folks, it appears society got their pound of flesh with the insurance license revocation. Its done with. The law has dealt with it. Its over.

The man is coming here posting, looking for friendship. Let him do so without being continually and unmercifully savaged for his past. I just don't think it becomes any man here to rhetorically beat the man or his wife into the ground under the circumstances of their lives as they currently are. Sorry to preach. I’m as guilty of mirth at Mr. Claiborne's expense as anyone. But at some point, enough is enough.

My .02 worth—and my apologies in advance to anyone who sees it differently. (And yes, I am a frigging hypocrit).

Whatever Art.
You've shown nothing in defense of your theft and deceit.
Bottom line is Art, your a liar and a thief, and still has not returned my property.
I still have the pm's, and they all were posted in public, so some searching can bring them current in the threads.
I've nothing to hide, nor tell half truths about. You, on the other hand, have always said, that others have not all the info.
only parts, or my side.
So spill it and prove me wrong, or remain known as an untrustworthy, liar, and thief.

Facts, are facts, I've asked for my property to be returned, and to this day, you have not, so in my opinion, your a thief.

Bullshit. The man is a con. Everything he posts is to further that cause. And if he's now dealing guns on here in violation of his chapter 7 terms, that sure as fug ain't looking for "friendship".
