These vintage machines are getting harder to come by. I thought for a minute that was a map of where safariman buried his guns for his impending trustee visit...

I did. Waiting on Warne QD rings and front sight. Found a Remington rear sight in a shed we own, while cleaning it out. Sweet Yup.

I have a Holland&Holland Royal in 300 H&H magnum for sale. It's been mostly a safe queen and just has a few handling marks. I'm offering it for $29,000. It might actually be worth much more than that because it's been mis-stamped. The craftsman at H&H had probably been drinking and stamped it "Savage", but don't pay any attention to that. It really is an H&H. Case not included. All sales final? Yeah, all sales are final. The money has already been spent. I bought my wife some used tires and myself a new, high-performance Harley Davidson, and a custom rifle. To make up for the difference, I kept her up half the night. She's still smiling.
He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice.

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

After watching a show on "best of the west rifles" I googled them, and found this diddy from 2008

I have seen a few Charletains do over a CZ 550 with a new stock and try to sell them for 5K as a custom DGR. One is born every moment, I guess...
Fitting words from Mark?

The problem is that Mark can't remember which lie he told most recently, and he convinces himself that his lies are truth. This is a narcissist greatest trait. They often live in a world they created and only they understand how said world operates.

That world perplexes me. But a few short weeks ago: Apparently "looking at cash flow" isn't a strong suit. That unto itself is odd because he's better at everything else, done more than most, and, has/had far "cooler stuff" than anyone here.

That unto itself is odd because he's better at everything else, done more than most, and, has/had far "cooler stuff" than anyone here. The OP's own words in the very first paragraph of his post that started this whole thread has had me shaking my head in amazement from the get-go. The first sentence he states an urgent need to sell this special keepsake rifle to help cover monstrous Rx as well as other assorted medical bills coming in soon. (Which is very much understandable) But then goes on to name potential trades he would consider taking as partial payment. Maybe it's just my warped way of thinking but were it me under the same circumstances I'm pretty certain I'd be insisting on full cash sales and not suggesting partial trades on anything. I had this rifle in my keep forever pile, and I really do love it, but I have a monster Rx bill coming for the immunosupresant drugs I have to take now, plus co pays etc. for my hospital stay and Kidney Transplant. So, this one is back up for sale. I would consider a Mauser, Ruger mdl 77 Mk ll, or Winchester pre 64 or Classic action 30/06 as a part trade....

I have noticed that as well, he first needs cash, usually stating huge bills to pay, then suggests he would take a partial trade vs only cash. He has done that for a long time.
I believe his buying mentality and methods remind me of an 11 year old, but it could be caused by being a Genius like he claims to be......NOT
I suspect he is posting guns for sale/ money needed, on other websites as I doubt he can continue life without some drama from buying and selling firearms. He thrives on it.

he lives.... from another thread: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbth...Number/9992946/what/showflat/fpart/2/q/1Breaking my silence here for a good reason and cause. Won't be checking out this thread as it goes along as I am logged on very little these days and mostly to just converse with my many friends here via PM's. That said, I recently purchased Tim's pre 64 in 300 H%H. It is as described and fills a big void in my 'bucket list' firearms. I also purchased two vintage Weaver scopes at the same time and they, too, were priced fairly and are in the excellent condition described.
NOdog in this fight, but if I had the cash for this 30/06 I would love to buy it. And I would gladly deal with Tim again and hope to. I wonder if the purchase of the H&H took place before or after the medical bills were taken care of?
