Tolerance isn't something you dole out when it's easy. They have that kind of tolerance in communist countries. Real tolerance happens when it's hard - in your gut - to practice it.

Once upon a time I worked with a guy named Tilman Ellis. He ran a roofing crew in Detroit during the riots. The roofers were day laborers and were a pretty rough lot. Thought his post about Bart was in bad taste but that Bart dealt with it just as he should have-like an adult dealing with an errant youngster. My girlfriend and I having a kid at a young age was not a mistake nor an unplanned thing. Believe it or not we planned it and deliberatly didn't use protection.
