Before and after restocking photos

Before and after photos showing the restock project on my WWG Co-Pilot. A bit more gloss than I wanted but I got tired of the rottenstone sanding and decided to put it together shine and all. Wood grain completely filled with Behlens Table Top varnish cut with Behlens thinner and mixed with artist stand oil. Stain was MinWax gunstock stain. Two more coats with stand oil containing cobalt dryer but the drying took FOREVER so I decided to screw that and finish it off with Tru-Oil. That's why it's so shiny. I worked on it some with rottenstone but as previously mentioned just got impatient and decided to say "good enough".

The restock was done using a fine old piece of black walnut I had been hoarding. 90% inletting and pattern done by Treebone Carving.
