I've got 4. of 'em. i've sportered two so far, and rebarreled one of them to .257AI and I just had the other one sporterized and left the military barrel chambered in 8 MMX57 Mauser. Anyway, they are a high pressure Mauser design and nothing more than a shortened 98 and they make good spporters especially for the 57 MM Case. And if you want a full power .260 Remington the longer action length of the Yugo allows you to seat bullets out to the max length of the magazine which will then better the 6.5 Creedmore by at least 100 FPS if not more. My gun smith puts in a stronger firing pin spring which quickens locktime and makes them more competitive accuracy wise with the newer design bolt guns such as Remington Model 700s and Savage 10s.
I bought mine about 8 years ago when they were a little cheaper. I think the most I paid for one was about $160.
