What is this cartridge?
I acquired a box of miscellaneous components. In it was a box of brass labeled 6.5mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer. The head stamp is simply 6.5m/m. The dimensions of the cases seem to be close to what they should be for the 6.5mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer except they have a very small steep shoulder similar to what you would expect for an "improved" cartridge. I have never heard of an improved version of the 6.5mm. Is that what this is, or is it something different? Any help is appreciated.
