1971....16 years old, living on my Aunt and Uncles farm in northern Valley county. it was Christmas break and I was walking around Glasgow and bumped into a friend that was 21. I asked him if he would sign the paper work for me and he said yes. Walked into the local firearms emporium and paid $49.95 for a 6 1/2 inch Ruger Single Six, two cylinders, fixed sights. Left the box behind and slipped it into my Levis and pulled my jacket down over the grip. It was the longest ride to the farm ever because that front sight digging into my thigh......:)
