FWIW, I just finished phase 1 of a very large job, where we hired about 50 laborers from all over the country. Most in kolluge, some just out of HS, to get experience in the building trades.
I wouldn't hesitate to toss them the keys to this country when the time comes.
We're going to be alright.
Maybe that's what Mannlicker hates. An attached sense of optimism born from being with the future, and helping them see a path that will benefit themselves and the country as an whole.
