I checked an old Herter's catalog for your bullets. They appear to be catalog no. SS1A17. Assuming your bullets are packed 100 to the box, the retail price of your bullets is about $14.80 in 1971 dollars. (The Herter's price for 500 Sierra .270 130-grain bullets was $26.85.)

Regretfully, these seem to be merely "World Famous" bullets, and not "Model Perfect" or some equivalent purple descriptor. However, they are perfectly shaped and balanced. I could not find a report that these bullets (or any other Herter bullets) were used by Jacques Herter on five continents under the most severe and demanding conditions. However, you can take comfort in knowing they were manufactured following a hokum-less policy.
