Well, its not only a tax on Alaskans. What I like about it is that it finally taxes all the out of state guides, commercial fisherman and oil field workers who take Alaskas resources but don't pay their share of sales or property taxes. But no I don't like an additional tax but oil prices have tanked and Alaska needs the revenue after they cut the state budget and state workers probably by half....
Indeed, it would be nice if the state did cut it's budget, and layed off excessive, unnecessary employees, However, I have not seen such in my area!
