2.5-8 or 3.5-10 leupold. I like my monarch 2.5-10. Granted it is on 06 but I'm ok From brush to open country. People say fixed 6 power is so great, but at 400 yards I am glad I have 10x.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
