The factory load that shoots best in my Kimber is the federal blue box classic 150 grn. Its heavier than I need for deer.
Have you tried that load on deer? I would expect it to work admirably. Not many deer live through a well placed 150 gr bullet. I was going to suggest the OP try the blue box Federals.
