The Axis bucks were 200 lbs and 230lbs respectively. The doe was 100lbs and the blackbuck about 90.
This may give you some perspective, thats a 24 inch barrel on the rifle....
The axis bucks would be on the very top end of the largest whitetail bucks we have around here.
On deer up to about 180 lbs lives weight we have yet to keep a 95 NBT started at just over 2950 fps from a .243 inside one even when breaking heavy bone.
