About 1994,I started using the 95-grain BTs in a Ruger Model 77 RSI .243 that my daughters had used off and on since about 1982. My younger daughter used that rifle out here for a few years, and I think that one mule deer stood around long enough to take a second shot. Since I left the ranch 12 years ago, several of the local kids here in the valley used it to take their first deer, still using 95-grain BT hand loads.

I sold it on the Free Classifieds here a few years ago. I guess that if I still had a .243, I would still be using them.
