You don't have to go to Syria, Iraq, or Pakistan to get "radicalized" ... just attend the "right mosque" or frequent the "right web-sites" ... that's all it takes.
Or just read the Koran. It contains complete instructions on dealing with Kaffirs.
A moderate muslim is a muslim that does not follow Islam. Radicalization of a muslim means that they faithfully follow Islam. They follow not just the quran but the hadith and sunnah also.
