My 336SC seems to prefer 170s, but I used some 150s last year and they killed the deer dead. Accuracy is a little better with the 170s, and I might just use them next time. I wasn't especially happy with the penetration of the 150 Power Points.

Probably just my own pecadilloes, but I'd rather have two holes leaking than just one.

I load for my other rifles, but not this one. I don't shoot it a lot, so I just use "store-bought" ammo. That's where it's reputation came from, after all. And, it's cheap and available.
