Okay, gotta call b.s. on this one!

While I have eaten my share (and more) of Twizzlers, only real licorice flavored with licorice root is worthy of the name. The tough, chewy "buttons" are the best.

Callard and Bowser used to make a really good soft licorice toffee that came individually foil-wrapped and packed in a nice little box but alas, it has gone the way of Sunshine Golden Raisin Biscuits.
